Sausage Making Is An Art, Not A Science
Since the beginning, my father Wilfried Huller believed in using only hand-selected cuts of meat, natural seasonings, and instilled a deep-rooted pride in the products we make. Our products have always been made without the use of any added fillers, artificial colors or MSG. This is why our ingredient label reads more like the items in your kitchen, and not a chemistry class. Simple enough—but to us it means everything! Our Bratwurst
In 1960 my father, along with his parents, brother and sister immigrated to the United States from Rittmannshausen, Germany. He was barely 18, just having completed his "Metzgerei" (Butcher) training from the Schellhauser Academy in Netra. In 1968, after several years of working in local butcher shops and learning the English language, he opened his first store on Washington Ave. in Hoboken, NJ. His business, as well as location grew throughout the years, but the philosophy remained the same, be proud of who we are and what we do, and remain true to the craft.
